Fun ESL name writing classroom activity

Try this lesson routine to help students practice writing their own names with control and confidence.

At the beginning of each lesson give a name sticker to each student with their name traced lightly on. Have everyone trace their names and put the stickers on their chests. This becomes a lesson routine to do at the beginning of each class. As students improve you can up the level – first give blank stickers and a card with their name on to copy, and finally just blank stickers so students can write their name from memory.
