Seasons worksheets for teaching ESL kids

Fun ESL seasons classroom activity

Try this seasons sorting and speaking game to get students using seasons vocabulary.

Spread out pictures or flashcards for the four seasons and related activities (e.g., swimming, snowman, flowers blooming, etc.). Put students in small groups. One student picks a picture and says a sentence such as “I go swimming in summer” or “It snows in winter”. Then remove that picture. Students take turn making sentences until all pictures are removed.
