Fun ESL furniture vocab classroom activity

Try this simple “Find the furniture” game to help students say furniture words.

Pin furniture flashcards around the classroom walls at child height. Say a furniture word aloud, for example “sofa”. Students look around, find the correct flashcard, and point to it. Then say the word together as a class: “Sofa!”. You can give other instructions as well, such as “Touch the chair” or “Stand next to the table”. Keep the pace quick and repeat often.
