Fun ESL vegetables classroom activity

Try this simple “Like it or Don’t like it” game to get students talking about vegetables.

Show a vegetable (plastic vegetable or flashcard) to your class and get everyone to show their opinion by holding their thumbs up (like it) or thumbs down (don’t like it). Ask a few students to say a short sentence: “I like carrots.”, “I don’t like broccoli.” After a few rounds, ask follow-up questions to keep it lively: “Who likes green vegetables?”, “Who likes vegetables in soup?”
