Fun ESL nature classroom activity
Try this simple “Nature or not?” game to help students talk about the natural world.
Give each student a card with “Nature” written on one side and “Not nature” written on the other side. Then, say a word aloud and ask students to decide if it is nature or not nature.
For example:
“Tree” → students show the “Nature” side of their card and say, “Nature!”
“Car” → students show the “Not nature” side of their card and say, “Not nature!”
Use a mix of words such as: tree, river, cloud, rock, sun, animal, building, road, chair, phone.
