Fun ESL space flashcard game

Try this exciting “Build a space mission” game using your space flashcards.

Put the space flashcards in one stack, face down. Students take turns drawing a card and saying the word (“astronaut!” / “rocket!” / “planet!”). As a class, build a simple “mission plan” by adding one sentence for each new card:

  • “We need a rocket to blast off.”
  • “We need an astronaut to fly it.”
  • “We will visit the moon.”
  • “We will look at the stars with a telescope.”
  • “We might see a comet.”

Keep going until all cards are used, forming a fun “mission story.”
