Fun ESL comparative adjectives classroom activity

Try this simple “Who’s Taller/Faster?” game to get students using comparative adjectives in real sentences.

Have students stand up and find a partner. Then shout out some comparison questions, such as “Who is taller?”, “Who can run faster?”, etc. Each time give everyone a minute to find the answer (e.g. standing back-to-back to measure, running around the classroom, etc.) and then report back: “I am taller than Alex.”, “I can run faster than Maria.”.
