Seasons flashcards for teaching ESL kids

Fun ESL seasons flashcard game
Try this “Which season do you…?” game using your seasons flashcards.
Shuffle the seasons cards and place them face down in a stack. Students take turns drawing one card, stating the season: “It’s summer!” Then ask a question such as:
- “What do you do in summer?”
- “What’s the weather like in winter?”
- “Which season are we in now?”
- “When do leaves fall from the trees?”
The student answers with a full sentence: “In summer I swim at the beach.” or “In winter we play in the snow.” After several rounds, let students ask each other: “What season do you like? Why?”
