Fun ESL uppercase alphabet flashcard game

Try this quick recognition game using your uppercase alphabet flashcards.

Lay out the uppercase letter cards (A–Z) on the board or floor. Call out a letter name (for example: “C”) and ask a student to locate and point to the card immediately. When they pick it up, they say the letter and then a word (e.g., “C – Cat”). After a full round, take a second set of the A-Z cards and shuffle them in with the first set, face down, and play as a “find the pair” game: students take turns flipping two cards — if both letters are the same they can they keep them if they say a word beginning with that letter.
