Pecking orders

Level: Advanced (C1 – C2).

In this lesson students talk about dietary habits and speculate on one potential source of nutrition for the future needs of humanity. They also consider how to formulate arguments and counterarguments.

  • Talk about dietary habits followed in a range of contexts.
  • Express your views on an issue and argue your point of view using arguments and counterarguments.

Notes:

For this ESL teens course, use either the PDF mini-textbooks (print out copies for each student), or if you have a projector or large screen you can use PowerPoint lessons slides. In both cases, follow the lesson through as it appears in the materials.
