Fun ESL body and face classroom game

Try this playful “Body part teacher says” game to get students listening and moving with body and face vocabulary.

Stand in front of the class and play “Simon says” (but say “Teacher says” instead) using body and face words, for example: “Teacher says touch your nose!”, “Teacher says wiggle your shoulders!”, “Teacher says blink your eyes!”. Students must only follow the command when you start with “Teacher says.” If you give a command without “Teacher says” (like “Touch your ear!”), anyone who does it is out for that round. After a few rounds, let students take turns being “Teacher.”
