Try this “Let’s make a fairy tale!” activity using your people & characters flashcards.
Shuffle the character cards and place them face down in a circle. One student draws a card and turns it over. They then have to begin the fairy tale story: “Once upon a time there was a (girl) called (Susan) …” and continues with a sentence or two to get the story stared. Then the next student draws a card and continues the story, bringing in the character on the card. The story continues as all cards are drawn by different students. For the last card the student must end the story using, “And they all lived happily ever after!”.
