Fun ESL meat flashcard game

Try this “Choose your meat dish” game using your meat flashcards.

Lay out the meat cards on a table. Ask each student, “What would you like for dinner?”. They pick a card and say, “I’d like (chicken), please.” Then ask, “How would you like it cooked?” e.g., “I’d like it barbecued/grilled/roasted/fried/etc.” After a few rounds, split students into pairs: one student acts as the customer and the other as a waiter. The waiter asks, “What would you like for dinner?”. The customer picks a meat card and responds: “I’d like sausages, please.” Then the waiter asks how they’d like it cooked.
