Fun ESL desserts & sweets flashcard game
Try this tasty “Pick your sweet treat” game using your desserts & sweets flashcards.
Put students in small groups. Each group has a set of dessert cards in a pack, face down. Model first: ask, “What would you like for dessert?”. A student from each group picks up a card and says, “I’d like (ice cream).” Then ask, “Why do you like it?” (“I like ice cream because it’s cold!”, “I like cake because it’s creamy!”, etc.). Then students play in their groups, taking turns to turn over the cards and say sentences.
