Fun ESL footwear flashcard game
Try this “Which shoes?” game using your footwear flashcards.
Spread out footwear cards. Call out a situation: “It’s raining!” or “We’re going to the beach!” and students point to or pick the correct card and say, “I wear my boots!” / “I wear my sandals!” Then ask: “What [hide_on_uk]color[/hide_on_uk][hide_on_us]colour[/hide_on_us] are they?” or “What do you wear them with?” (“My red shoes.” “I wear them with jeans.”) After a few rounds, let students suggest situations to call out and pick the footwear for each other.
