City improvements

Level: Intermediate (B1 – B2).

In this lesson students prepare and present information and suggest solutions for the future of a major city. They also read some information about the cities of London and Cairo.

Members get the PDF mini textbook and PowerPoint presentation.

  • Structure and deliver a relatively formal presentation.
  • Read and report statistical information.
  • Use a model section of a presentation as a basis for discussion on problems in urban environments.
