Level: Advanced (C1 – C2).

In this lesson students talk about maps and exploring other places and take a look at how to write an introduction to an essay. They also review passive clauses and when to use these.

  • Talk about maps and cartography and discuss their utility.
  • Use a text as a source for finding variations on a word as used in context.
  • Understand when it is useful to use passive clauses in written text and use these to add cohesion to text.
