Crime, criminality and the law

Level: Advanced (C1 – C2).

In this lesson students talk about crime, the law and legal systems. They also read and evaluate the main argument from a best-selling book.

  • Discuss violence as found on global, local and personal levels.
  • Review and extend your knowledge of lexical items used to describe crimes, civil disputes, and possible actions taken.
  • Interpret, and challenge, the main ideas in a book review.
  • Understand the main points in a complex descriptive text and make comparisons between these points.
