Singular / Plurals worksheets for teaching ESL kids

Fun ESL singulars & plurals classroom game

Try this singular and plural question game to help students say correct noun forms.

Give students, in pairs, picture cards showing singular and plural nouns, e.g. cat/cats, box/boxes, child/children. Partners take turns showing a card and asking a question such as “Is this one box?” or “Are these three cats?”. The other student answers using the correct form (“Yes, it’s one box.” / “No, they’re children.”). Then swap roles so everyone gets plenty of practice using singular and plural forms in context.
