Personal possessions worksheets for teaching ESL kids

Fun ESL personal possessions classroom activity

Try this simple “Stationery guess” game to ask about personal possessions.

Have students sit in pairs holding their pencil cases / school bags. They must guess what items their partner has by asking and answering questions, e.g. “Do you have a pencil sharpener?” – “Yes, I do. I have 3 pencil sharpeners” and they take out the item(s) and place on the desk. The idea is to guess ALL of their partner’s items in their pencil case / bag – they have to keep guessing until everything is taken out and placed on their desk.
