Fun ESL clothes classroom activity
Try this fun “Who is it?” guessing game to help students use clothes vocabulary and descriptions.
Before class cut out lots of people pictures from magazines. Put students in small groups and have each group sit around a desk. Spread the people pictures all over the desk. One student will secretly select a picture and their group will have to guess who it is by asking yes/no clothes questions, e.g. “Is he or she wearing a hat?”, “Is he or she wearing a a blue jacket?”, etc. until they guess who it is. Then play the same game, but this time by looking at all the students in the classroom.
