Fun ESL insects flashcard game
Try this buzzing-around sorting game using your insect flashcards.
Lay out your insect cards around the classroom or on a table. Call out the insect name and students race to the correct card, say the insect and do a quick action (e.g., buzz like a bee, flap arms like a butterfly, crawl like an ant). After a few rounds, shuffle the cards and ask students to pick one, say the insect, and tell you one thing it does or where it lives (“This is a grasshopper. It jumps in the grass.”).
